ALBEDO Telecom is an Original Equipment Designer (OED) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of telecom nodes and instruments with experience of more than 25 years on technologies such as IPTV, VoIP, C-Ethernet, SDH/SONET, QoS, and IP. Our solutions are used in the five continents. Customized solutions on demand built on systems, network equipment, hand-held instruments, are available to fulfill market requirements.
We develop complete projects including the Schematic Design, PCB documentation, Prototyping, and Manufacturing of complete series of nodes. At ALBEDO Telecom we have developed Linux based embedded real-time software for telecom devices, including analyzers and plant equipment based on PDH, SDH, SONET, ATM, Carrier-Ethernet, VoIP and IPTV. These solutions are today installed all over the world and used by most of the top ten telecom operators. Current network technology often requires precise time and frequency synchronization. We respond to this demand with custom synchronization solutions based on different types of ultra-precise timing sources (GPS receivers, atomic clocks) and synchronization delivery devices operating over wired or wireless links and based in standards like NTP or IEEE 1588.
One of our focus is design of tools for testing applications. Signal analyzers for TDM, Ethernet and IP networks. We design BER or jitter/wander tools for custom interfaces and also quality assurance devices and systems for packet switched networks to compute delay, jitter, packet loss or any other propietary or standard quality metric.
We design electrical and optical signal sources and receivers for networking applications, line cards for E1, SDH and Ethernet based on propietary mappings and non-standard protocols for custom applications. We also accept projects for special network management cards and software based on SNMP and other standard and non-standard protocol stacks.
